Sehwag is class just because he bats cause he loves to bat... agreed that he isn't a real team player when it comes to playing according to situations but sehwag just loves the game and it shows when he is batting... that kind of attitude over such a period is the reason for his success... He can never be a sachin or a Dravid...because they will toil hard when they don't get enough runs and somehow will try to make their game perfect and achieve better results... they are competitive and true professional sportsmen but with sehwag its more like amateurish... he plays cause he just loves batting, he loves the game actually and if some day he wakes up and feels he doesnot love batting anymore he will retire that day... So its useless comparing him with other ATG but the fact that he loves the game so much shows why he has got these amazing stats..:hatsoff: :bow:

I have said this many times before. He is the greatest ever in the subcontinent but lacks the application and mindset (not the talent) to make runs in tough bowling conditions . Even if he applied himself more in Saf, Eng, NZ and Aus he could never be as good as a Sachin or Dravid due to lack of feet movement.

He just gives it away too easily. Most times he gifts his wicket. He never used to do that earlier in this career. Valued his wicket, gave the first few overs to the bowler...once set...he would stick into them. Needs to leave more balls outside off at the start. Needs to value his wicket...again.

Sehwag needs to go I think in the restructuring business we need to cull Sehwag first. His stay at the top has been good, even great at times, but I am afraid it must end. If we can still extract something out of his immense talent then it must be done by moving him down the order. There is no point in opening with Viru any more. And I seriously do not want him to come back to opening slot at home coz he will succeed here and then when we tour abroad the same story will repeat. Most Indians will succeed at home. So Viru's replacement also will succeed...if Vijay can then anyone can. Cull Sehwag from the opener's slot first up before culling Lax or Rahul or Sachin. I've had enough of this irresponsible, mindless batsman opening the batting for us. He is once in a blue moon batsman. When was the last time he scored a century outside the subcontinent? He averages around 21 since the Adelaide test in NZ, Aus, SA, Eng, and WI. If you include the Adelaide cent then he averages 29. Twenty fu
