SachDan Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 How he did so well in England and struggling here against same type of deliveries is beyond me. England bowlers never really tested his weakness against incoming deliveries. There were far too many sighters outside off at the beginning of the innings which allowed him to settle in nicely and Dravid to his credit made the most out of it.
tothepoint Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 :yay: And dont forget to congrat the record holders of getting out highest number of times to tangdi before wicket as well.
Lord Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 he also got bowled 6 consecutive times in this series.must be nearing a record there too
Prakat Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 He has got out bowled 8 times in the last 10 innings. Without those 10 innings he was way below the others who have played round about the same amount of innings.

At least someone really "understands" cricket. Australia has post 2001 favored in coming deliveries against Indian batsmen, Dravid/Tendulkar in particular. They got the better of the Indians in 2004-05 "final frontier" series as well.
Indian Army Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 then people should just shut up about highest number of tons' date=' highest number of runs etc as well.[/quote'] You could play a 100 innings, score 3000 runs and get bowled 100 times. Average of 30, out everytime = NOT a ATG or 100 innings, 5500 runs, average 56, bowled 100 times. = ATG. Its all about how productive and how muvh you score before you get out, which is a 97% probability everytime you go out to bat. ITS NO HOW, BUT HOW MANY YOU GET.

yoda Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 This is what happens when you decide to keep playing till this day comes.
Deleted_User_1 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 he is definitely in a mental block as well. Too late to sort all that out. Just pack your bags and call it a day!!!
Magneto Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 BCCI should push ICC for a new rule that when Dravid plays there should be no stumps behind.
Ultimate_Game Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Would have loved to watch Rohit the last 2 Tests in Aus. But alas we were forced to witness the different ways Dravid's stumps get shattered :sniffle:
