Mukund techinically is a better opening batsman and looked to have a better technique. Rahane while talented is over rated. He is a good ODI player

Bro, more than Rahane and Mukund, I believe, M Vijay more appropriate for opening slot. He has lots of talent as compared to Mukund. He just needs to sort out his mind and should concentrate. He is just like Sreesanth with all the ability and skills but their applications are not good

i don't think much of him as a test player to be honest, he sometimes doesnt give the impression that he knows where his off stump is, he doesn't defend well and tends to play too much off the front foot.

You are thinking exactly opposite to what is in real. Reality is that Virat left the ball extremely well in Perth test. Thats bcoz he knows exactly where his off-stump is. This improvement was noticeable in his game in Perth. And for that matter, his defense was extremely good in Perth, the only ball he nicked behind the wicket was when he got out

Virat batted well, certainly has the hunger and talent, he does try to play alot of deliveries square on the leg side which is his strong area, Virat , Rohit, Pujara, certainly the players who will take over from our present lot.

Mukund is an excellent back foot player already and will only improve with time.Vijay doesnt even have a back foot play. Vijay is excellent on the front foot but without the back foot play u wont succeed overseas.Which is why he struggled away from India in even T20s let alone test cricket.

Nice list of players generally. The highlighted players have a lot of potential as their brand of cricket is more suited to international cricket. I would beg to differ on Mukund ,Murali Vijay and Manish pandey though. Mukund has the habit of playing outside off stump deliveries with a closed bat face with the bat pointing towards mid wicket. This is making it difficult for him to play the quicks.

Bye god, kya player hai. :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff: to him He is again the only player to score a century in this series from Indian side. He is again the highest run scorer from all sides(although he has played one extra match). He is a live-wire in the field. He hates to lose. He hates to get out even after scoring a century. He already has 9 centuries in ODIs. Really, it was the performance of these young players like Kohli, Raina and Yadav, we can hope for a better future. A gem for the future.
