EnterTheVoid Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 It's strange meeting these guys Ram, the awe is replaced by indifference.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 Met them - Not all of them but some of them. Briefly shook hands and exchanged pleasantries (How are you/good luck etc)
Ram Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 It's strange meeting these guys Ram' date=' the awe is replaced by indifference.[/quote'] I bet the guys cannot wait to get on that plane. Foreign tours are a lonely place to be, especially when you are getting hammered.

I mean all of us have our bad days at work. Sometimes we mess up real bad, but for these guys, the bad days are real bad.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 When I met them during England tour it was a similar experience to yours. Players training session lacked intensity and were going through the motions. Definitely did not look like they wanted to be there. I know the tour is tough but they have to show fight.. Viru and Tendulkar in particular looked tired. Dravid and VVS practised hard.
Cricketics Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Man, how much I envy you. I would have stayed their all day had I gotten such chance. Good on you though. Keep it up
Aaku Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Werent you all like- OMG imma no spend mah dollahs and watch this worthless team j/k nice pics
BERGKAMP Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 What a depressing thread, cricketers picked to represent their country have had all their fight and determination sucked out of them. WTF is Fatso Fletcher doing to get them motivated?
EnterTheVoid Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 Man, how much I envy you. I would have stayed their all day had I gotten such chance. Good on you though. Keep it up No big deal Tics. You can easily go strike a conversation with them, everyone was totally chilled out. You probably have more patience than me anyway, I only stayed there for 20 minutes, LOL.
Desi Cartman Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Did Ishant move or did he just stand there for the entire session ?
hari504504 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Does gently trundling in count? Look at them today ! Sree you really should have carried that banner I was talking about...:--D

NeutralCat Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Ashwin insisted, though, that they were not embarrassed by the performance in Australia. "Two teams play; one has to lose," he said. "It's fine. Nobody is embarrassed in the dressing room. Quite happy to keep coming out and keep trying again and again. Things will turn around some time. Nobody is embarrassed. Very sure about that."
Stuge Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 he is trying to be positive .Good sign for us in future .he is a born fighter for sure :)
EnterTheVoid Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Not a lot of love for the team, LOL. Give them a break folks, they need some time off. They are practically worked to death with non stop cricket.
