Mariyam Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I had tickets to the game at the MCG but gave them away' date=' and also to the ODI's [b']I am not going to waste my time and money on this disgraceful, pathetic bunch of dogs. I wouldn't be so harsh on the Aussies. I mean, I know that Haddin, Bret Lee, Warner etc are despicable characters, but to call them pathetic bunch of dogs is a stretch.
adi B Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I did not watch a single ball today as I knew the result beforehand. :winky: We are crap in T20s since we won the first T20 WC. We do not chose T20-specific team like Australia. Likes of Robin Uthappa, Yuvi, and Yusuf are must for T20s. We may do well in ODIs a bit, but we need to sort out our opening problem. Sehwag is playing like a third grade club cricketer right now. Rohit Sharma should open in the next T20 and Sehwag can bat in middle order. spot on, india were never a good t20 side, main reason, india doesnt have bowlers to pick wikets, heck they dont even look like picking a wicket, only wickets can stop the flow of runs, that was the main reason we won the t20 wc, bcoz we had a good fast bowling attack which got the wickets
Stuge Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Can't bat, can't bowl, can't field= formula comes out to be C (cube) B (square) F Leaving jokes aside ,its the reality of our team and we have to face it .
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 To improve standards in Indian cricket, IPL should be a freemarket without quota restrictions on international/domestic players. Let the best talent play and perform in the XI. That will push the best talent and the most hardworking will be picked. How will this improve standards? It will simply mean teams picking established overseas players at the expense of indian youngsters and if u have a look at the auction list there are enough foreign players to fill each team. Plus from a marketing perspective you will generate more income with better known players. The govt should tax IPL heavily and reinvest that money into our shoddy stadiums and facilities.
Magneto Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 The only four people that can change this is VVS' date=' Sachin, Dravid, and to some extent Ganguly. But then again, when they themselves are missing International tournaments to play the IPL, we know where their priorities are. We're rightly getting thrashed and I'm loving every minute of it.[/quote'] Ganguly is not missing international tournaments to play the IPL :hitler: He is in fact playing Ranji trophy to get fit for the IPL
Magneto Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Funny thing is that most of these players won't play Asia cup as they will be tired and will need a break Before IPL The CB series squad and the Asia Cup squad would be roughly the same. The only players that may opt out are Sehwag and Zaheer (and that would be a good thing only).
NeutralCat Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 We need a complete revamp of Indian cricket, nothing else will do.
J P K Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Pak might have gone 0-9 on their most recent tour of Oz' date=' but at least they got close in Sydney test and a few of the short-form games (couple of ODIs and the only T20). We don't look capable of doing even that.[/quote'] sorry our captain does not have balls to chew balls in public
Magneto Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 :finger: to all the Davangere Express haters. Pathan can come in for Ashwin for the next match in a quicker pitch.
1983-2011 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 voomar bowled better than poomar so why should the Davangere Express be dropped
Old guy Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 :finger: to all the Davangere Express haters. Pathan can come in for Ashwin for the next match in a quicker pitch. u really became him fan now:hysterical: keep control on rolling man some times u start believing ur lies
Magneto Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 u really became him fan now:hysterical: keep control on rolling man some times u start believing ur lies  No trolling, just being fair. Why would you speak of dropping the guy who was your best bowler the last match? I would only call for his head when he performs badly. I anyway don't regard Pathan as a great choice in T20s presently. If Pathan has to come in, he should come in for PK or Ashwin, since both has performed poorly in the last match.
Clarke Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Somehow i thought Jaddu did a Giles by coming out with that statement :haha: http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2005/aug/01/ashes2005.ashes Can't bat, can't bowl, can't field. Famously, they said that about the last England side to win the Ashes. Now they are saying it about me. I suppose I should take it as an omen. Once my anger has died down, maybe I will. One moment, Mike Gatting's 1986-7 tourists in Australia were being rubbished, the next moment they were lifting the Ashes. Now the attacks are more personal - and I'm one of those in the firing line. One of my mates said to me that it's always the negative voices that are the loudest, but the criticism has been hurtful and it's been unfair. I don't expect media cheerleaders. I just think I have a right to some fair criticism. "Playing Giles Is Akin To Playing Ten Men" was one headline that I saw last week in a newspaper that is supposed to have a reputation for quality. Some quality. The headline was based on some dismissive comments from David Houghton, the Derbyshire coach, which made no attempt whatsoever at constructive analysis.

Vk has earned himself a game here. that 19th over , I though he will get smacked for some 20 runs .
J P K Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Indai Squad: how can some one write our country`s spelling wrong :whack:
daryl1985 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Credit where it's due. Vinay deserves to play tomorrow. I thought he bowled well.
