Jaddu is totally on another level.. Lot's money on stakes on him.. $2 Million and more.. From where will you get break even or get good returns of the investment made if Jaddu doesn't plays or is not in the limelight? Advertiser will forget him.. Don't touch him.. He's secured..Talk about replacing other players.. Maybe Yadav.. The BCCI team is a co-alition party..Like UPA..Each and every party wants to have their own ministers in the cabinet. But Congress (the majority party) holds all the cards..

prashsenga Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I want to see jaddu and sehwag kicked out and rohit and tiwary coming in place of them. zaheer should play instead of vinay.. i think vinay is injured and his fluke days are over... i would stiill want to persist with rohit and tiwary as they are still anydays better bat than jaddu.. lets have 7 proper batsman and hope at least 2 out of 7 click whih should happen.. sehwag shud be kicked out.. he just does not seem to have a brain.. bugger was ticked off for being dropped as part of rotation... he should have been sent on the plane back home....
vvvslaxman Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Irfan is definitely a much better option than bit part player like Jaddu who can't hit boundary to save his life or rotate strike. His bowling is also not very different from Yuvraj singh bowling. Once Yuvi is back he can be permanently kicked out. Dhoni at 7. Irfan at 8, Ashwin at 9.. would give us an awesome batting depth.

We may see him continue in the team maybe as a number 8 with Irfan batting ahead of him. But his spot in the side for this series is untenable now. With India not playing outside Asia for the next 18-20 months, that will mean Irfan being used as a new ball bowler. The signs have been good so far, he seems to have got some of the swing back and as he plays more, should be back to bowling the way he used to earlier.

We won't need to left arm spinners. Ashwin is a different beast in home conditions. He can open the bowling, he can bowl inside power play.

I've a feeling that UV will not be selected anymore in the team....Will he be able to or allowed to make a comeback? That's the $2 Million question...
