Ponka Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Why did he say that if it was him he wouldn't let that appeal happen? Ponka is like w-t-f??? You've bowled no balls to stop others from getting a century then you said you're not complaining on that 5 ball over and then when technically sri lankan batsman should have been out and Indians were big hearted enough to let them play instead of thanking the team, he's upfront in saying that he wouldn't let the appeal happen as a start...w-t-f??? This is why Ponka is not in agreement of playing 30-40 odd ODI's with Sri lankans.
achilles Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 We pay them to be treated like trash. If anything, the Lankans should be thanking us and be forever gracious with us, for we have bailed them out and stood by them when no one has.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Pls add the World Cup final's "I called heads coz ref didn't hear me" Sanga incident as well. I didn't hear Jayawardene or any SL player's reaction regarding that incident when Sanga was caught on tape calling tails and later chaging it to heads once he realized the ref hadn't heard him.
VRV Singh Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Sree Lunkan captain's CV must include propensity to whine. How many captains in a row is that now. Dilshan, Jaya and Whinga. These old guards are passing on tricks to the next gen e.g. Randiv...don't expect this to end.
Texy Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Faak Mahela and his whole SL team ...these a.s.s.holes denied Sehwag the century ...moral high ground should be shoved far up his a.s.s.
Crookbond Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I posted this on another thread, reposting. Jayawardene acts like an jackass. -v0JSSORlXo
maniac Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Request BCCI to stop their paychecks immediately
Stuge Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I posted this on another thread, reposting. Jayawardene acts like an jackass. -v0JSSORlXo WTH was he standing for :O
zep1706 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I posted this on another thread, reposting. Jayawardene acts like an jackass. -v0JSSORlXo It's better to stand the ground if you are in any doubt, you just cannot take an Aussie fielder's word for that.
khanjee Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 yeah these guys are full of it...just look at mahela in above video..he has no shame...IPL give these guys some wings, other wise koi pochnay walay nahi thai... I can't find this video of Sanga where he gets into fight with MYK coz umpire didn't gave MYK out when they appeal
Trichromatic Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 That what happens most of the time. If you bend then people will try to hit you harder. If Indian team hadn't withdrawn the appeal, probably Mahela wouldn't have talked such trash. Indian team has to be blamed for the mistake. They themselves made it look like as if appealing was wrong. This team doesn't deserve to win any game with such mentality.
veer Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 are we talking like sour grapes here?? the guy is winning games for his country... let it go people..
achilles Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 are we talking like sour grapes here?? the guy is winning games for his country... let it go people.. The guy wins games. No doubt about that. Perhaps something Sachin Tendulkar could never do in his career.
Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 The guy wins games. No doubt about that. Pergaps something Sachin Tendulkar could never do in his career. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Crookbond Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 It's better to stand the ground if you are in any doubt' date=' you just cannot take an Aussie fielder's word for that.[/quote'] A batsman will always know that's out. It's the sub continent and the slips are close. To top all that Copeland isn't express, around a 130 max. So Lady Jaya knew he was out. Well, thats's not the problem though. The problem is his over the top reaction "just chill" after that.
Crookbond Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 The guy wins games. No doubt about that. Perhaps something Sachin Tendulkar could never do in his career. Congress ka haath, Sri Lanka ke saath.

adi B Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 next time a big check will reach the srl cricket treasury from the bcci nd we`ll see an indian win on tuesday
Tapioca Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 We pay them to be treated like trash. If anything, the Lankans should be thanking us and be forever gracious with us, for we have bailed them out and stood by them when no one has. The unconditional support in ICC comes for a price. When India no longer needs their support India will stop sending cheques to SL, as they did for Pakistan.
