For OP, VK never bowled 140+ consistently. If you r getting happy over 1 odd T20 match in Australia and hoping him to repeat the same performance since then, then you will always be sad. Coz VK will never make you happy. VK will always be VK. He is a natural 125-130 k trundler. Even in Australia, VK was under 140 k in every match except that 1 odd T 20. And in sub-continent, he will be around 128-133 k only.

I think we saw one over from VK which was faster than 139.5K and uptil 143K- he was pretty dangerous in that over , beat the batsman , he is blessed with good line n length abd with 139K + pace , he genuinely adds venom ............. where as when he slows down under 130K and a couple of balls at 132K- batters have all the time in the world to play at front foot or back foot and they become mentally comfortable, though his line n length is GOOD still he is not able to instill fear in the batsman.

Yusuf and ASHWIN( or if Rahul is lucky) will be the spinners. I think Dhoni may even ask Yusuf to Open with Gautam Gambhir or sachin. That would not be a bad idea as gauti and sachin are safe batters and value their wickets quite a bit and because of there recent lows they may want to score big. Yusuf opening may give him enough time to play and if he settles down , then the next team losses the match before they get to BAT. I hope manoj tiwary gets chances as well- for me i wud play manoj ahead of Rohit

No bets are on DINDA and hope for the better VK to come as a under 130 K VK is definitely worse than PK and a 140k VK is definitely better than PK. Irfan will definitely be the steady all rounder and if he maintains his bowling around 129 to 133K he will retain his place in the team.

at 135 bowlers have more zip jsut look at zack at his best he is above 135 averaging around 137 when he is struggling (like he was in some spells in test) he was bowling in lower 130's ,120's these 10 k make lot of difference..maybe he meant that ?

Ok I give 2 main factors why we people hate VK to be in Indian team.- 1. You r again talking about that one T20 match where he bowled only 4 overs of around 140 k consistently. Now, you got 2 understand that somedays, everyone feels good and fit and then we can go beyond our limit. Even you can run 3-4 kms one odd day. That doesn't mean that you have become an athlete. Right? Similarly, VK bowled around 140 in one odd match. It was not 155 k. He can't bowl 140+ consistently coz his body is not built to do so. He has medium-ish height (for intl class fast bowler) about 5'9. He has fluffy body. On top of that, with his action, he has to stretch very hard to generate decent pace. So, he is not an intl class bowler. 2. Secondly, a straight forward logic, which is not hard 2 understand, when you people talk about him being a swing bowler and swing being his basic strength, then how many swing bowlers can you play in a match? There is Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Irfan Pathan and your 4th bowler is Dinda who is not at all a certainty in playing 11. So, first 3 swing bowlers pick themselves, Praveen, Irfan and Vinay. This itself is a ridiculous decision. This means that you r picking team just to please people not by logic, you had 2 please Vinay that you don't want 2 drop him after a couple of failures in last 2 matches. You wanted to please Praveen coz he is close to Dhoni. And you wanted to please Irfan, coz you had just picked him few matches ago and he has done just OK. Selectors r their just to please people and not thinking you r picking 3 swing bowlers out of 4.
