Sachinism Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 That "reatarded" comment was in response to stuff like Sachin "dedicated his life to the team" :haha: I am sure that's why he dedicated so much time to IPL while opting out of WI tour coz it was not about money at all but only about love for the game :haha: But wait, wasn't it all about records? Selfish records, which he could've possibly achieved in the WIndies tour
Ultimate_Game Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I don't wanna drag this off-topic' date=' but believe me, [b']she was no way near selfless as she's being made out to be. Yeh she did some good, but it was all for personal records. Another selfish midget Can't really believe what I am reading :omg: So Mother Teresa was selfish :omg: Phuck!!! I never imagined Sachin fanboys could stoop to such levels While we are at it how about telling us how Sachin is much more patriotic and a bigger hero than a soldier who lost his life in Kargil :hatsoff:
Ultimate_Game Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Fact of the matter is' date=' he played, plays and will play the game because of his love for the game. Til some people don't understand that, we're not going anywhere.[/quote'] Nope, he's a professional sportsperson and wouldn't have done so if he didn't earn a cent from the game.
zen Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Mother Teresa is a piece of **** compared to Tendulkar - BTW I stopped reading there :hatsoff: to the most disgraceful comment on this thread
Old guy Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Can't really believe what I am reading :omg: So Mother Teresa was selfish :omg: Phuck!!! Ultimate_Game Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 But wait, wasn't it all about records? Selfish records, which he could've possibly achieved in the WIndies tour You should ask him that. For me he made a business decision to go with IPL and its millions instead of WI tour just like any person would. If I had to pick between millions from 6 weeks of work or a few thousands from 2 months of work I would put the millions as well just like everyone else and that's just what SRT did.
Sachinism Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Yeah' date=' what dedication of life - let's see who hits a round leather object the best with a wooden stick. The world would have made so much progress if everyone started dedicating their lives doing that. [/quote'] Yeh Denying people painkillers so they can experience the suffering of Christ. Re-using hypodermic needles, physical and mental abuse delivered to those in the convents really helped the world progress
akshayxyz Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I am not pulling Tendulkar down at all. I think it's a great success story and should be a lesson to every kid how you can be successful against the odds. I am simply putting in perspective the statement "Saching dedicated his life to the team" as I find it's way over the top coz you may be naive enough to think Sachin would have done the same even if he hadn't earnt a cent from cricket. IPL is proof enough that cricket's a profession like any professional sport and Tendulkar' date= like any other player, isn't just "dedicating his life to the team" but earning money from the game. As I mentioned in my earlier post such OTT comments are applicable for likes of Mother Teresa who did indeed dedicate her life to others. How many millions was he earning ( or was promised to earn), when he was 8 y.o. kid - that motivated him to get up at 5 am in the morning and get on local train to go to practice. And its not just about him, Do you know how much Pankaj Advani earns? Geeth Sethi earned? How many millions are stashed under Dhanraj Pillai's bed? ........ You know nothing about what motivates a sportsman of highest class.
Dravid_TheWall Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 i just hope no one disagrees with this fact.. :cantstop: Anything is possible on icf.

Re-using hypodermic needles, physical and mental abuse delivered to those in the convents really helped the world progress You're answering to the wrong poster. I did not mention Mother Teresa in any of my posts. I don't know enough about her to answer your question.

At Least, I am sure you must still be sucking on your mamma's nipples at that age and crying for candies. And its not just about him, Do you know how much Pankaj Advani earns? Geeth Sethi earned? If they believe that, its a shame they can't appreciate someone achieving their goals. I bet all these people had an education, took up further education to make the world a better place, they didn't do it to earn a higher pay packet.

Old guy Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 see..we normal people respect him for wht he did... we think he is a gr8 cricketer probably the best ever.. but that does not makes him god.. or some one who is flawless he has every right to make money no one is complaining abt that but when his fans make him look like a poor person who has sacrificed everything for his country thats where for me problem starts and disgraceful threads are made :giggle:
