Whereas, Stephen Fleming quipped that the Kiwis will groom bowlers of Murali/Malinga-ilk, unconventional bowlers to take advantage of the 15 degree shyt rule, when the rule was introduced.

To me it is simple the only way you can bowl Doosra or Tesra is by Chucking !!! Saqlain Mushtaq bowled doosra all his career and no one raised a question about his action.

Dont compare Ajmal to Saqi.If Ajmal bowled in 1990s when there was no 15degree rule he wouldhave been banned the very first day.The likes of Ajmal have been allowed to ball in last 8-9 years or so.

Bhajji was first reported in 1998 for his doosra and cleared.Theer was no 15 degree rule then also. Saqi didnt use to bend his wrists to bowl the doosra.He had a different way.The likes of Ajmal take the easy way out and bowl the doosra with a bend wrist and it is difficult to bowl with a bend wrist if you dont bend your elbow. I still think that this 15degree rule is ****.

In the 90s and early 2000s, there were excellent spin bowlers such as Warne, Murali, Saqlain, Bhajji (1st phase of career) and many others. Right now, the only two spinners with good averages are Swann and Ajmal, with Rehman also having a decent average. Vettori's average isn't too bad but his SR isn't very good.
