A tribute to Tendulkar ....

I think this so called divide is pretty superficial. I think almost everyone including Rett or Outty or me or any of his recent critics would argue that he is the one of the greats, if not the greatest to come from India and arguably one of the all time greats. But the tu tu main main with some delusional theories by bhakts ( entertaining though ) really detracts from career that should be a celebration of the game. You don't have to pull down any great or magnify Sachin's achievement to mark his greatness.

I think most 'bhakts' will accept he's not really a god and has certain weaknesses. But you have people come up with the most absurd benchmarks for a great, for which Tendulkar may not show up at the top and make it seem like that is the biggest factor for a great. It becomes obvious when someone is running a player down for the sake of it, don't hate on people who feel the need to defend him.

The quantity on Sachin's side may be more but quality is severly lacking...kinda like the batsman himself these days. :--D:--D:--D:--D
