Of second chances and comeback kings

Of late we've got many players who are out of the team and are either aspiring to or making a comeback.Harbhajan,Sehwag,Irfan and Uthappa come to mind.In the past,I think Vinod Kambli made as many as nine comebacks none of which were fruitful and Sourav Ganguly is an obvious example of a man being successful on his return. Any others you can think of?

Comeback should be a termed used when a player comes back to the team after like a gap of 2-3 years or something. out for an year is too short of a span. Like Ganguly came back after going to Aus tour in 1992, he made his comeback in 1996

IIRC , Srinath was dropped around 2000-01 under Ganguly's captaincy. Then he came back and did pretty well in WC'03.
