Ultimate_Game Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I would willingly vote for you guys to get in if my vote counted for anything
chainsmoker1985 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 At least Dravid has retired. But, preferably, Laxman should be the one who should have retired first of them all. If Laxman will be playing any match, I will be boycotting that match for sure.
chainsmoker1985 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 BTW, Sehwag has been dropped from the team and rightly so. But, why only Sehwag? Why not other seniors?
dragonfly Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 vishalvirsingh - take a deep breath and step away from the computer.
chainsmoker1985 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 We desperately needs a new captain in test matches. Dhoni's tactics are weird and he is a good captain only in sub-continental conditions and he only knowshow to captain slower bowlers. But, when the conditions are different, we require a captain who knows how to captain faster bowlers and how to get wickets out of fast bowlers. This tendency to build a formidable spin bowling attack and remain over-dependent on our spinners even in foreign conditions has not worked in the past and is not going to work in the future as well
GautiMaan Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Although op is a bit extreme, can anybody tell me how a "private club consortium" is allowed to manage a sport and claim their team as "India" but still is not accountable to the public or the government?
saneindian Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Vishal bhai, tum aage badho, ham tumhare saath hain. Cricket ke dalalon ko, joote maaro saalon ko

vishalvirsingh Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 BTW, Sehwag has been dropped from the team and rightly so. But, why only Sehwag? Why not other seniors? THank GOD - Atleast One decision taken. Thats Important - there should be some action against a miserable failure so that others watch and focus on cricekt rather on cheer leaders and Parties and Blood Money............ this is cricket and these players are worshipped by fans- they cannot behave like normal Humans and go behind girls and dance around

BCCI did not take the decision of dropping dravid but dravid took himself---------- Thats also good for Indian cricket..i agree VVS may also not be selected. IS BCCI doing anything about creating fast pitches.

Stuge Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Will N Srinivasan Save Indian Cricket? http://forbesindia.com/printcontent/32404 No need for kneejerk reaction, says Srinivasan MUMBAI: The Indian cricket team is being hammered by Australia but BCCI president N Srinivasan on Wednesday said there is no need for a "kneejerk" reaction and the players should not be put under pressure. India are down 0-3 in the ongoing Test series and are in danger of a defeat in the fourth and final Test also as Australia have piled up 604 for seven in their first innings. "There is no need for a kneejerk reaction. We have faith in the team," said Srinivasan when asked whether the Indian team's performance calls for changes in the team. "We have suffered from setbacks. The tour is halfway through but we still have a long way to go. We should not put pressure on the players. Only months back, at this very venue, they became world champions," he told reporters. After the Test series, India will play a couple of Twenty20 matches against the hosts next month before joining them and Sri Lanka in an ODI series. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/series-tournaments/india-in-australia/series-tournaments/No-need-for-kneejerk-reaction-says-Srinivasan/articleshow/11629419.cms
chainsmoker1985 Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Exactly Correct- the same wily foxy spinners on INdian tracks bcom slow bowlers and are hoisted for sixes by all batters............ i can challenge any foreign batsman to murder ashwin and bhajji continuously on indian tracks- they will find it real tuf but on foreign tracks- even a no 9 batter slogs them out and these indian spinners who are always taking 3 to 5 wickets in indian conditions are wicket less abroad> pls understand Selectors- focus only on fast pitches and fast bowlers--------------- India has no dearth of Spinners and trundlers- if you guys wish to see JUST watch the IPL- there will be atleast 10 Indian Spinners who can be selected in some national team and practically all are of similiar CLASS. Even about Ashwin I am not sure. He looked world beater in series against WI at home and completely clueless in Australia and then again in Asia cup, he looked good. So,what I thought about Ashwin before Australia, that he can win us matches abroad, has proved me completely wrong. This proves that both Ashwin and Bhajji have failed abroad. So, the lesson to be taken is, we should look to concentrate on fast bowlers and batters who can play on spicy pitches.

IS BCCI doing anything about creating fast pitches. NA, nothing... The talks have been going on for years and years that we need spicy pitches at home. Talks and more talks... The recent Ranji final was played on one of the dullest pitch ever, where hardly one innings per side was completed
