Sehwag1830 Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I haven't seen any Indian player play pull shot so effortlessly like Pathan. Or did i miss something in England and Australia ?
adi B Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 u kiddin? just bowl a bouncer near to his ear nd he`ll make u change the thread from best to worse
SLICKR392 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 /\ +1 Pappu and Rahane plays better short balls than anyone else IMO
bajrang Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 pulling a bouncer on indian pitches is entirely different proposition.even Raina would have pulled that one and he is the worst puller in indian squd. but i would say after dhoni, rohit he is the most brutal puller in indian team.
CG Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Rohit sharma is the best currently,Virat kohli has improved his pull shot and now plays it on the ground mostly,Robin uthappa plays both pull and hook shots which is rare for indian batsman ,Irfan, rahane, patel also plays the pull shot well.
ViruRulez Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Dravid was the best at the pull shot and now Rohit is the best in the pull shot. Having said that, Irfan is a good allrounder who has got good enough technique including the pull shot. I hope the team stops the weird decisions and starts playing him as an allrounder in the Indian team in the future instead of playing him a pure bowler. He is far better alrounder than either Ravindra Jadeja or Yusuf Pathan and he has got better talent both in bowling and batting than both of them. Not sure why we have sort of accepted that the no.7 allrounder spot must be occupied only by a spinner and not by a seamer allrounder. Robin Singh was perhaps our last seamer allrounder and we seem to have it for granted after that time that only a spinner can fill up the allrounder spot. Irfan is suitable neither as a perfect pacer nor as a complete batsmen but is suitable for an allrounder spot only. Hope the Indian team management understands things properly. I hope the last 5 spots in the Indian team especially ODI/T20 in the near future would be: Umesh Yadav Zak/Varun Aaron VK/PK/Ishant/future contender Ashwin/Rahul Sharma/Ojha Irfan UV's return would definitely help a lot in the balance of the team.
SLICKR392 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Rohit is a good hooker, Virat is a good puller of the bowl.
Cricketics Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 At this time, Virat Kohli is the best in every freaking shot.
GautiMaan Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Rohit is a good hooker' date= Virat is a good puller of the bowl. :hysterical:
