What a massive improvement shown by him from being relatively unknown till last year to beeing the most potent Indian bowler right now. Would be great to preserve him and keep him fit for the tests in SA, NZ and England in next 12 months. Yeah. But death bowling is still an issue for everyone.

saneindian Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Yeah. But death bowling is still an issue for everyone. Don't care about T20s and even ODIs, we need a good solid consistent bowler for tests and Bhuvi looks to be on the way. With his sharp movements at a decent pace, will trouble even the best in favpourable conditions. The most impressive aspect has been his improvement. Didn;t look like a test bowler 3-4 months back, but he keeps getting better. I wouldn't mind if he's not picked for most T20s or ODIs, from now on we need to save him for tests playing only a few T20s or ODIs in between.

A bowler with his height will always pose at least some problems as they approach 140kph.
