It is too early to comment...... But pawan has been between 140 to 145.....Very fast and Impressive Very Talented bowler ....really fast.

I wonder why he wasn't talked about before. The little that I saw looked pretty impressive. If he can maintain that sort of pace over longer spells, he will definitely be a good contender for the Indian team.

Google often states wrong heights. According to google Umesh is 6'2". Actually he is between 5'11" to 6' max. Bhuvi must be about 5'10" or 5'11". Definitely short for a fast bowler. No arguments there. Tell me sincerely, does Junaid look tall to you compared to a fast bowler ?

Junaid failed miserably in South Africa in favorable conditions and so did Irfan and the rest of Pak bowlers. They were treated like school level bowlers by SA and they couldnt pick wickets to save their lives. Even Robyn Peterson was more effective than them in the test series. First see how B Kumar bowls in SA before you pass judgment on who is better. Not just empty retarded rhetoric about how phaaaasssht they are, how tall they are and blah, blah, blah.

Everytime I see Bhuvi I see a bowler who is constantly improving, earlier I was not convinced but more I see him the more I like what I see, confident, intelligent, upped his pace and now can touch early 140's, moves the ball of seam and swings a very good combo, also loved what I saw of Suyal and Upadhyay, quick arm and both touched and crossed 140's, with Suyal bowling few in 90's, wonder why Pankaj Singh is not playing along with Shukla.

Ehsan Adil has low pace like B.kumar But Look at Adil height 6 foot 5 inch Mcagath-Pollock-Asif-Philander all those guys are Seam bowler,s where B.kumar is swing bowler like Parveen Kumar and Kulsakare

Even Krishnakant also was not Bad, touched 140K ....looks a lad who can improve He is no where international standard now and needs to improve..... But Pavan Suyal beeing a left hander is very close to beeing Picked... Dhwal Kulkarni seemed and swung but this guy being a left hander may have an edge over Dhwal....

Mithun is certainly worst among Indian bowlers. BK is ungainly and prevents him generate much pace. BK and Hilfy's action cannot be compared. Hilfy has side-on round armish action, predominantly outswing bowler. This action will always help bowler put more behind the ball to generate pace. BK is more closed and front on, predominantly inswing bowler. Both are poles apart. This kind of action will always hamper him generate his maximum pace. An important fast bowling basic is your bowling arm should not touch or be too close to your bowling side ear if you want to utilize your maximum pace which is in BK's case. His right arm comes inside the right shoulder and is too close to his ear even touches it and has left lateral flexion. Hilfy's right arm comes around his right shoulder which is a better action. BK should concentrate on his outswing more. It will make his action better naturally.
