Does Dhoni have any reason to be Motivated or Inspired? Now This might turn into another thread to bash Dhoni or to sing his praises but seriously the guy has not looked motivated since the WC victory in 2011... Even in the last T20 Wc's it looked like his attitude was been there done that. The guy has been the only Indian captain to lead the No 1 Test team in the world-So been there done that Won the World cup-So another feather in his cap Don't think he thinks there is anything else to play for especially in tournaments like these...If this is the case it is unfortunate for fans because we want to win every single time....I know it is not possible but where is the effort? The only 2 times I have seen Dhoni motivated in the last 2 years was in the Worldcup and to his credit during the SA series...ODI,T20 and even in the last 2 test matches Once the attitude of done everything creeps in,it's time to move on...This is why I don't see us being at The WI or Aus lteams of the past level,because their team and their leaders always found new ways to motivate themselves and always set the bar higher for themselves which doesn not seem to be the case with our Kuptaan. I know he got a wake up call in Eng and Aus but what is the point of persisisting with him if he is going to be lethargic till the next overseas series. Time we laid the groundwork for the future and time we brought in new management Captain,Coach etc and looks like we are going to have new selectors anyways

[b']For some reason I was convinced that the pitch was good for spinners, but Watson and Warner proved that there's only so much the pitch can do. The only time I started enjoying the cricket a bit was when I realised the Dhoniconda was going to rotate nearly every possible bowler in the team. I'm also hopeful that Sehwag is brought back for Chawla, and that Yuvi replaces him as our 5th bowler. Reminds me of the World Cup. What's upsetting is that India have a really good batting line-up, but they just don't play to their potential. Anyway, I'm confident that India are going to come good against Pak on Sunday. I've followed India enough to know that sometimes a crushing defeat is a blessing in disguise, because it's often followed by a strong series of games. Pak and SA is where India are going to shine. It's Do or Die now, and the likes of Dhoni and Virat thrive on such occasions.

Pathan opening was a silly move for team with abundance of batting talent. Keeping Raina too low was another mistake. Why they keep persisting with Sharma is a mystery. UV was an emotional pick. Bhaji selection was worse then us picking Malik. Yousaf Pathan at 7 and another spinning option should have been there. On the whole your spinners bowled wrong length and were too slow.

I think he has not played enough in last 5 years and he did well in odi series against lanka.target guys who have done worse than him he did open and got india 31 runs which none of our other batsman managed.
