Even if he's crying and it looks this passionate, then why the hatred for Kambli for crying after the SF of the '96 WC. Was it because he was woefully out of form then or is it something else? I Rohit Sharma would have cried, then would the reaction been the same? Even if he's crying, everyone has his own way of reacting to a situation. Everyone does not need to cry and if someone doesn't then it does not mean it didn't matter to him. In the same WC, Mark Taylor, who inspite of losing the finals, was the one who had a smile on his face and did not resort to having a sada hua face. I have no qualms in Kohli crying as well, but these sensationalizing of things is really OTT at times.

Short boundaries, flatter tracks make you look good in Chennai Sambhar Kings or Mumbai Idiot colors but they will not happen in T20. We are hard wired for the IPL and unless those conditions are not repeated in the World T20, we will fail. See how the IPL teams (Indian players in particular) perform in CLT20 and that should give you enough idea. IPL teams as well as Indian players have usually performed well in CLT20.

Since 2007 t20 world cup to 2011 world cup whatever decision he was taking on field whether correct or wrong...luck was favoring him...giving bowling to joginder sharma is one of the luck factor...sometimes Last over given to raina and it helped him...even mediocre players like jadeja performing well when dhoni's luck was with him...but since england tour everything going against him whether its toss,rain,net runrate or jadeja factor...yuvi got cancer..it was also setback...sehwag's and gambhir's form gone..lost in IPL also...So do u believe in luck?

They are reaping the rewards of their gym work and strength they gained from that. While our batsmen are thul-thule.

Pakistan was always just catching up and never went ahead. With 13 runs in last over, most of the captains would go with a pacer.

Trichromatic Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Making an assumption here - most of the sixes are hit by openers or batsmen batting in last 4-5 overs. We didn't have hitters at those positions.

In this team, we have Sehwag who is a big six hitter who is completely out of form and didnt even play all games. Yuvraj is a big hitter but he is coming back after a gap and still not quite best as a batsman. Gambhir, Kohli, Rohit are attacking batsmen but they dont try to clear the boundary. That's why number of sixes are less.
