Rightly so .. but keeping the choking aspect aside Sourav' date=' .. I think that South Africa also are a strong team. Whatta Say??[/quote'] They are always the ultimate world-beaters till they play a KO match in the WCs. I've given up on them.

now that these 3 teams are doomed and will probably crash out in first round itself who are the favs? :hmmm:
SL would be the underdogs and will crawl up till the semis I guess. Look at this logically: a) England - They'll be happy in their dressing room since they don't have KP and will be shytiing in their pants in the ground since they don't have KP. b) Australia - Since they're No 10 in the rankings, they're depressed already; probably they'll open up bottles of Bisleri if they somehow manage to beat Ireland. c) South Africa - They'll huddle in the dressing room and chant 'We'll never ever choke' together a million times. Yet, when they'll have to score 5 runs in 3 overs with 6 wickets in hand against Timbuktu in a quarter-final, they'll all seem like a bunch of deer caught in the headlights, with their fans (like you) doing a rudaali act. d) New Zealand - If they manage to reach the semis, it would be 'Mission Accomplished' for them. Then Jesse Ryder can happily get drunk, and Ross Taylor can proudly proclaim that they have maintained their tradition. e) Bangladesh - Will get whitewashed again after which the captain would be sacked accompanied with a formal BCB enquiry on the lines of - 'Why didn't we win the World Cup'? Their fans will of course keep chanting 'We shall overcome some day' in their cricket sites. f) Zimbabwe - Do they still play cricket? Therefore, we are left with WI, Pak and Ind and after that your guess is as good as mine.

india will have 40 runs to defend in last 3 overs..then the dinda, balaji duo will come to bowl and team will win with 1 over to spare wi...umm they are good but have they ever performed as a team ? and people will play narine pretty well now imo ...lets wait n see and gayle is the biggest threat if he fires they will cruise if he does not then its unlikely they will win pak... bowling is good for conditions but cant see them winning cup with ther batting imo south africa (choking aside) ,pakistan, west indies have best chance i honestly dont see us doing well yuvraj's performance is iffy batting is always up and down and we have played badly in last 2 editions and bowling....

'packing' order? as in which team will pack up first and leave? then your order might be correct but if you mean pecking order then its incorrect.
packing order is the reverse of pecking order:--D

T20 Broadcasting in Canada Sportsnet will be showing most of the matches in Canada. But i don't see any matches on weekend mentioned in their schedule :(( Is there another channel that will be telecasting matches along with sportsnet world/onee?

One thing the team management should pick up on is Kohli will be successful only as opener. He isn't a big hitter. He's timing the ball greatly and has shown in SL and today that if he plays in powerplay even his touches, flicks will fly for 4. He wont be as effective if he comes around 7-8th over. (probably the reason why he's not been so successful in IPL yet) Gambhir or Sehwag will have to come 1 down for it to happen though.

Dude, he is such a striker, has such talent and timing, that even if all 10 players are on the boundary he will still hit those 4s and still find the gaps. I dont know how you got the point that he cannot hit beyond the power play overs when he has shown again and again in ODIs that he can hit boundaries at will to whatever part of the ground no matter what the field. He doesnt hit big because he doesnt need to (though he can hit huge sixes!)

He's not flashy or attacking player by nature. He's a classical cricketer when it comes to hitting. Most of his boundaries were back-foot punch, drives and cuts. If he does that in mid-overs, chances are most of them will be single. Hence I thought we better utilise him as opener. Often I've noticed in IPL as well, he comes in around 10-14th over- tries to slog instead of playing normally to keep up with the rate.

CSK lobby screwing India everywhere Just to make sure their franchise remains valuable , Dhoni won't be asked to quit captaincy of Indian T20 team despite him being the worse batsmen to play T20 and the only captain to lose all the matches in World T20 2009 and 2010. Even Tendulkar and Azhar never enjoyed such monopoly in the team in 90s.
