Guys like Rohit/Virat/Raina/Yuvraj/Sehwag often end up being more efficient than our pathetic excuse of a bowling attack. As some other members are saying, we might as well keep a strong batting line-up and a few bowlers, with the part-timers as back up. Whoever bowls well on the day is bowled out, anyone bowling trash can be sidelined. The main criteria for selection will be: -batting ability -fielding ability -ability to bowl a few overs In other words, bowlers who suck at fielding and batting are out by default.

"The doosra of Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh was the subject of an official report by match referee Chris Broad, on-field umpires Aleem Dar and Mark Benson, and TV umpire Mahbubur Rahman after the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Chittagong in December 2004. It was reported that his arm is straightened by angles of up to 10 degrees, 5 degrees within the ICC tolerance levels."

saneindian Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Cannot rely on Yuvraj's bowling in this tournament as his fitness will not allow him to have much control. But then with Dhoni and use of part timers, it has always been about which side of the bed he gets up from. Raina/Rohit/Kohli take turns to bowl 7-8 overs in one match, will not bowl for the next 3-4 matches! Expect to see more in this tournament as well.

This removes Dinda, Zaheer Khan, Balaji out for sure. Chawla is out too. Tell me more.

One match it could be Kohli, on another day Raina or Rohit. Thats Dhoni for you.

I can't find that link.
