yoda Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Why has this guy gotten just 1 ODI so far? I was very impressed with his bowling today. Right on the money. Seems like we could use him ahead of Trundlers like Koomar and Aravind.
Zelig Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I heard Shiva say that he has been the leading wicket taker in the Ranjis for the last two seasons :hmmm:
kabira Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 yes he has been dealt severely.. Chumboos like Srreesanth got so many opportunties..This guy definately needs his opportunity.
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 yes he has been dealt severely.. Chumboos like Srreesanth got so many opportunties..This guy definately needs his opportunity. Funny how people are commenting on him now after one IPL game lol. His record and ability has been there a long time before and he should have got a chance. Why bring Sree into it? At least he has match winning spells in Lanka, SL, WI and who can forget his skills v SA. If looked after, this guy rivals Steyn. Maybe you should mention the likes of Ishant who has never done anything, Mithun, Unadkat, Vinay or any other useless seamer we have tried.
saneindian Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 One of the few Indian pacers who try to hit the deck. not having any godfather hasn't helped him at all. Hopefully playing under RD, he will have an influential voice supporting him from now on.
kabira Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 >Funny how people are commenting on him now after one IPL game lol. Sidhoni Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I heard Shiva say that he has been the leading wicket taker in the Ranjis for the last two seasons :hmmm: he was saying that Pankaj Singh is one of the leading wicket takers
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 not one IPL definatley' date=' he has been doing well consistently. and his team won ranji trophy twice in two years..[/quote'] I didn't mean to direct that at you. :two_thumbs_up:
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Pankaj Singh >> Sreesanth Thanks for living up to your name :hatsoff:
mastana Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 how fast was he in RR vs RCB match ? Average speed of 25 mph and occasionally he ran at 40 mph. Oh sorry thats the approx. speed of a rajasthani camel.
Dravid_TheWall Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 how fast was he in RR vs RCB match ? 130-136k with good bounce, seaming away. He is not quick, usually medium fast or fast medium but it was the fact he was accurate with bounce and movement that was key. Internationally he would need to bowl this kind of speed though. Also Indian speed guns are not accurate. The most accurate are Australian ones. English ones give quicker speed too.
NareshK Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Another trundler who will be taken to cleaners by good batsmen.
