There are way too many heavy weight players in this team - Sehwag, KP, Mahela, Ross Taylor, David Warner, Mornie Morkel, Umesh Yadav and Irfan - thereby making other teams weaker in comparison. IPL management should have ensured the talent is spread around for fair competition between teams. Watching DD take on DC will be something like Australia Vs Namibia. I guess you do not remember their team in the first 3 IPL seasons. It is much better and we all know what happened.

Some teams have their own management to blame for not picking good players. Take the case of Pune Warriors. At the time of auction Subroto Roy threw a fit and declared withdrawal from IPL. After the auction was over, he decided to come back.He should have taken this decision before the auction and Pune could have had more quality players in the squad.
