Kudos to the rock of WI What i dont understand is that when you have such a great player in your team why do they keep playing him at number 5 when most of the top order is out and he ends up battign with the tail most of the times. he should be at number 3 where you play the most steady batsman in your team. he could have score lot more and would have been so much better for the team. Right now all flaky batsmen come on at the top and he ends up always coming it at 60-3 or something like that

The day Chanders crossed 10,000 Test runs he also crossed the Test average of 50.00 for the first time in his career. How appropriate and how derserved. To me the best crisis player in the history of the game(over the likes of for example Allan Border of yesteryear) when time and again he was the difference between his team being a BD unit and to the one that is competitive on the batting front. Ever since Lara's retirement over the last 5 years one perhaps lost count of his timely 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 100's in a team total of 300 or less which is itself is so unique to cricket. Tiger Shiv the legend and may the legend keep growing.

All things considered to me a better Test bat than IVA and BCL(that is saying a lot). I am very comfortable to rate him such today though he lacks the swagger of a Richards or a flair and the big scores of a Lara. Over the last 5 years he did his reputation no harm with those mind boggling solo knocks when all else around him will just succumb time and again and he comes up with those gems.
