Hopefully he gets to play and show what he can do, but on the flip side if he was there then Shami would have missed out, Shami is probably the most talented prospective bowler we have for the longer version.Tiwary I believe is not cut out for test's or will not even succeed on sporty wickets, Saha, Pujara, Rahane, Rohit, Shami, Awana are the future.Hopefully we will have a bigger squad for NZ, odi and test specialist.

I wonder whether Rohit Sharma will continue as a talented guy with 'potential', without actually converting the potential into performance. For every good innings, he plays 5 or 6 bad innings. The worst part is he seems to not put enough price on his wicket and gets out to indifferent shots.
That's his biggest problem

I disagree entirely. This post comes from confusing First Class/Test cricket with OD/ODI cricket. Many great Test players struggled to attain consistency in ODI cricket, such as Steve Waugh or VVS Laxman.

One more match to go' date=' another A tour coming up..I am sure the likes of Bisht will get enough chances.[/quote'] I do hope that the squad stays mainly the same though.

One good innings and two bad ones. From what I am reading on the twitter commentary, both times he was out to casual or flashy shots. Its a question of temperament not technique.

Yes thats impressive. For the sake of Indian Cricket, I hope he can show similar performances in the International arena too. Maybe he can come good and stop being an India 'A' player.

And the Indian batsmen gifted away the initiative right away :haha:
They are following our main teams footsteps religiously. Failing to score 300 every single time.

At least the bowlers showed up for India A which once again proves that if you have a good bowling lineup you will be in every contest no matter how poor the batsmen.

@westindies: #WIvIND: Great stuff by Shami Ahmed - just 'turned around' Brathwaite with huge outswinger. He has been India's best on tour so far. WI 18-1 I definitely need to watch him play soon
