Sehwag1830 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 We may not criticize them as much as Koomars( Praveen & Vinay) , but these guys are almost as bad as Koomars. Bowl well in one match and filth in other.
gaurav92 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 They at least bowled well in one match  :respekt:
Number Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Add Brett Lee, Steyn, Morkel, Hilphy in the list. All are as bad as Kumars.
GautiMaan Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 M Morkel 4-0 -37-0 -9.25 plz give ur assesment of this poser too
cameron_black Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 atrocious team selection by DD more than anything else. going in with three out and out pace bowlers on that type of a track was just madness. can't put all the blame on the bowlers.
saneindian Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Please also create a similar thread for Sehwag. Wait, I will bump your thread on Sehwag approach. Let' see what you have to say.
Old guy Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 i blame sehwag more then anything whta braindead cricket is he ...even morne went for runs here the quicker u bowl the easier it is .. and he only plays one spinner
msb1991 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 If Varun or Umesh were dropped for Nadeem, there would have been uproar on ICF.
Old guy Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 If Varun or Umesh were dropped for Nadeem' date=' there would have been uproar on ICF.[/quote'] on this track ? even darters are turning the ball square
1983-2011 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 on this track ? even darters are turning the ball square yep and they could av called for pathan to be dropped instead of thse 2 greats
Old guy Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 sending venu and negi ahead of taylor...whata genius strategy!?!
saneindian Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 If Varun or Umesh were dropped for Nadeem' date=' there would have been uproar on ICF.[/quote'] Justifiably so. Why would you drop two of your better bowlers. If anyone should have been dropped for a spinner, it would have to be Irfan who has done nothing with the ball all tournament.
J P K Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 brainless bowlers headed by a brainless captain what a retarded decision sending rao and negi ahead of irfan and taylor
Malcolm Merlyn Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Now he will mess it up even more if he drops Varun or Yadav for the Chennai Match. And this pitch wasnt a bad one,DD made 144 even after their much vaunted opening pair failed.

It just annoys me when ICFers speak in hindsight about a selection decision, despite the fact that the decision itself would have likely also raised uproar.
vvvslaxman Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 This was very slow pitch, bounce was low.. Gauti effortlessly pulling 148 kph balls should have kind given an idea what was in store for DD and used the resoures accordingly.
