He has an originality rate of let's say 1 in 10 i.e he'll change his answers no matter what the question, 1 in 10 times. Cricketers are not really known for their originality now are they? Even those paid to speak aka Shastri, have this horrible habit of repeating cliches over and over

He said this only yesterday. Earlier he used to say "KKR the team plays for the pride of Kolkata". But yeah, it's OTT of Gambhir calling himself Son of Kolkata. Probably he meant for his team as a whole.

No, he said the same many times last year..And he repeated the same before the start of IPL and in delhi match too when an anchor asked about how he feels playing at home, he said he is son of Kolkota, and it is his home ground...
