vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I understand "is Tiwary Ready" "is Rohit ready" topic as we have better players. But Is Varun ready? lol seriously as if we have plethora of great replacements .. nobody is ready.. we just have to keep throwing at the wall hoping some would stick.

Rohit and Tiwary are in India A so for our selector they are not ready yet or they would have been rested like Aaron for the packed schedule that we have ahead Aaron is being rested which means he's in the frame for a place in the team and I am not sure he's ready to start for us Zaheer, Umesh will start but is Aaron more beneficial with sporadic game time in Team India (being kept around the team) or should he be given the time to refine his talent in Domestic Cricket or India A away from the spotlight
Old guy Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 yes he is.. and its t20 fkn dale steyn went for runs at end :| but from ready i mean india ready not world class bowler ready he has to learn lots of things but it all depends on his attitude ..umesh has good attitude cos of it he has improved a lot in a year and this guy is 22..so lets hope for best
Pagalpanti Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Doesn't matter if he's ready or not. Would rather play him instead of trundlers like Vinay and Mithun.
vayuu1 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Varun, awana, shami and anwar ahmed are must in Indian selectors radar.
Old guy Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Wait' date=' I thought we were talking about tests.[/quote'] no way tests.. right now zack and yadav are our best bets.. lets see how aaron does in odis for now if he shows signs of thinking over batters there and moving the ball then maybe give him a run in test too theres nothing to lose..vinay kumar played in australia.. :|
daryl1985 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Aaron had 5 good game but 3 bad games in the IPL 2/63, Daredevils v Super Kings 0/48 Daredevils v KKR 0/25 Daredevils v Kings XI 1/38 Daredevils v RCB Delhi 2/19 Daredevils v Kings XI 0/28 Daredevils v Super Kings 2/30 Daredevils v Deccan 1/20 Daredevils v KKR Delhi Every bowler went for runs against RCB and i thought Aaron bowled better than his figures suggested. He had a poor last 2 games but for me he is a must in the Indian limited overs team.
bajrang Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 catches were dropped, top edges went for six due to his pace. still nothing like wat dale stayen suffered by the hands of his own countryman.
jj_28 Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 catches were dropped' date=' top edges went for six due to his pace. still nothing like wat dale stayen suffered by the hands of his own countryman.[/quote'] especially against RCB where he was really unlucky
Tiger-Don Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I think its time to let this cheetah loose...since he has played ipl before so he should be ready now and we all know about his speed and stuff so no worries there....but my only worry about him is his line and length...but maybe playing some international matches will let him hone his skills.
