Kottayam: Continuing his defiant attitude in the Congress-led ruling UDF, government Chief Whip and KC-M nominee PC George on Tuesday said BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was not an "untouchable". George also took exception to the decision of a group of legislatures from the state to cancel a visit to Surat to study the waste management schemes. The team consisting members from both ruling UDF and CPI-M led LDF opposition had cancelled the programme fearing political back lash in the state.

Just see the line of questioning in that transcript.. NDTV is trying to enforce their point & constantly forcing Murthy to come out with a quote against Modi. Only that he doesnt do it. I am sure our non-resident Non-Jaahil Gecko will find something to twist the words

Imo, it's important to remember that backing Modi publicly will also lead to terrible abuses against yourself. Remember Lata Mangeshkar when she talked about on Modi should be the PM , and the reaction filled with abuses and hatred. So for BJP and related associates, many cards will open up come near the elections period, till then, a lot of things will happen behind the scene.

^ After state elections things bit changed. Now people realized "Secular" BS is no longer enough to garner votes or sympathy.
These state elections have hurt Congress the most. Even their public backers have been made to rethink alongside with potential allies (JDU?) For BJP and related associates, it's still the same game before the state elections announcement, they will have to fight hypocrisy and abuses from parties and certain media (biased) groups.
