If he have too many fancies you are right, but here he is spending everything on fashion. Does he get additional money only for clothes?

And agree partially with second paragraph. But criticizing someone should be based on his policies, and delivering of services to nation. Not based on utterly frivolous thing like lining of his coat, or his preference of toilets. How does it matter whether he wore a coat which had his name or not in the overall perspective? And worse the conclusions were on the line like "dictators do that so Modi is a dictator", without even expanding on how both were deduced. And now the stupid argument about India being a poor country. Well then the rahstrapathi should stop living in a big bungalow like the rahstrapathi bavan because apparently it shows off. Instead he should shif to a two bedroom apartment. Modi should drive a Maruti 800 to work because that represents the median range of our country. He should wear a muslim topi, a sikh kripaan, a north Indian shirt and a south Indian dhoti to encompass the idea of India, what next?

My sister is a Manipal alumni, with a bachelor's in mass journalism (you know why I mentioned that little detail :winky:). She was and still is staunchly against Modi. A couple of years back (after the SIT report acquitted him), we were discussing politics while on holiday. She started making big statements about how she wouldn't return to India if Modi became PM. I asked her why she was so against the man even after the SC found him innocent. She said that it was because of the 'every action has a reaction' quote he never made. I asked her to show me the video. She shows me this video. 4CiuBBKJ30Q Half way through the video, she starts back tracking. Till this day, I'm waiting for her to show me that video. Where is she currently? She is currently in Mangalore :hysterical:. So much for never going back to India. A lot of people are like my sister. Made up their mind on the man ages back, and can't fathom the fact that they were wrong about him with regards to 2002.

As for Sikh kirpaan, well he has worn different topis not the Muslim one. I don't personally give a * for any religion but His party is having or at least backing conversion drives so isn't that something that people should be concerned or at least have a right to be concerned? Every time someone says something like that replies are : Digvijay, baba, mms etc. Well they were wrong and by being differently wrong or less wrong doesn't make it right.

Many can't admit that they themselves were wrong in jumping to conclusions based on flimsy evidences, so they go after such ridiculous things to prove to themsevles that they weren't wrong.
