When i first saw this guy from sril-lanka.....I thought sri-lanka had found their first genuine pace bowler.....he has everything to become a good bowler......good hieght, decent pace (around 140 kmph), good body and also split finger slow bowl......Don't know what went wrong, but could never become a decent bowler......Tries quite a few things and brought his down fall. Some people are not destined to become quality players. Atleast 2 other people fall into this category.....sreesanth and rohit sharma.. can u guys name few others, who fall into this cateogry....who looked like they can make it really big but faltered?

Steve Harmison. He could have been an England ATG. He actually managed to rattle the great Aussie line-up on a couple of occasions and they did not like facing him. Mentally, he probably was not tough enough for test cricket.

He had injuries too many times, and has a pea sized brain to accompany that. Has zero knowledge on tactics. It's amazing that after so many injuries and at 30+ years he is still hitting that 90 mph mark and some times going up to 150k. Wish he had a brain to go with that massive frame.

First time i saw him in U19 world cup. Probably the best bowler in the whole tournament. However, didn't learned too much after that.

And as far as Ive seen he didnt do too bad at the intl level, he even played in IPL last year and wasnt too bad. But he should, and probably will improve himself over the years. Not everyone is like kohli, nasir or steven finn who impressed fans in their first year of intl cricket.

hmmm...this guy has been playing for NZ from last 2 to 3 years...not one year.....whats dis-heartning to see is.....he is going down-hill... However, he has age on his side
