Dravid_TheWall Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 Celebrity arrival Injured Sreesanth gives pleasant surprise at M’lore Airport Sunday, 06 May 2012 11:40 Mangalore, May 6: People at Mangalore Airport were in for a pleasant surprise on Sunday morning, when they saw Indian cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth walking out of New Terminal Building. The temperamental bowler was on his way to Kollur seeking the blessings of the idol of Sri Mookambika. The pilgrimage comes three days after he was officially ruled out of action for five months due to injuries to both his toes that would require two surgeries. Replying to the queries of media persons who surrounded him before boarding the car that was waiting for him, Sreesanth admitted that it was not possible for him to play international Cricket for next five months as he has to undergo two major surgeries on both his toes. He said he is likely to move London for treatment. The Kerala speedster last played for India in the Test series in England last summer, and has only played one first-class match before picking up the toe injury. Sreesanth, who had preferred ayurvedic treatment instead of going for a surgery in December last, had originally hoped to be fit in time for the CB series in Australia earlier this year. Sreesanth was part of the Rajasthan Royals this season but couldn't feature in a single match before heading to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) last month for rehabilitation.
