Spiderguy252 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Going into the first test, here's my slightly left-field pick: Rahane Gambhir © Laxman (if he fails in Test #1, chuck him out) Tendulkar Sehwag (if he complains, chuck him out) Kohli (tell him it'll only be a little while until the bloke at #4 is chucked out) Saha (wk) (Dhoni, go to hell) Ashwin (one misfield and you'll have your jersey confiscated) Ishant (last chance, kid) Zaheer (a niggle and you'll get the boot) Yadav Ojha (please spin the ball, for the love of God!) Of course, this is never gonna happen. But I can always dream, right?
Trichromatic Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 3 pacers on Indian pitches Ishant Sharma for Ojha? So the bowler who took 5 wickets at an avg 67.4 in last series in India should be picked ahead of bowler who picked 20 wicket at 22.5. No code has to be inserted here. Ishant shouldn't play any test test for India for next 1 year. Even part timers can do better job than this. Suresh Raina's bowling No code has to be inserted here. :dontknow:
adi B Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 nah, ms will be there. selectors cant drop him.. since the tests are in india sehwag gambo pujara/rahane tendlya nohit( although i think laxman would be there) kohli dhoni ojha ashwin yadav khan
Pagalpanti Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 For the first test the XI picks itself up unless there is any injury. Laxman should be dropped for 2nd test if he fails again. Veeru, Gauti, Pujara, Tendu, Lachu, :finger:, MS, Ashwin, Zak, Yadav, Ojha
Trichromatic Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 nah, ms will be there. selectors cant drop him.. since the tests are in india sehwag gambo pujara/rahane tendlya nohit( although i think laxman would be there) kohli dhoni ojha ashwin yadav khan That would most likely be the playing XI. Only difference would be that Laxman won't be dropped.

Trichromatic Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 ^ KT, are you expecting green tracks in India?
Ultimate_Game Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 just asking.. what has rohit done to deserve spot ahead of rahane ? i dont think sehwag deserves a spot or is this just a probable 11 and not the u would pick ? For me Rahane hasn't done anything either to get in front of Rohit and Rohit was ahead in the queue. It was unfortunate Rohit got injured when he was supposed to play against SA. It's time he got his chance. Rahane will get a chance soon as well with SRT retiring soon hopefully.
