bharat297 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 To be honest, I thought Robin Uthappa never got enough credit for the 2 innings he played in the CB series finals against Australia in 2007/08. He batted most of the series at No.7, yet in 2 crucial finals against the then No.1 side in the world, he was asked to open and did the job that was asked of him against a bowling attack of Lee, Bracken and Johnson in Australian conditions. He's got a tight technique, yet has a good range of shots. I wouldn't mind seeing him back in the ODI side.

Some of them dismissals were school boy stuff. Junaid was swinging it from a fuller length and they kept driving thin air missing the ball. I expect Ind to hit back hard in next game. This will be high scoring thriller.

Viru who does not do well against any team, GG Srilanka basher, Rohit playing wrong format and should be dropped. Ishant should be dropped, and then part time feast is also served especially with the new rules their bowling wont work. You will have to have solid openers now.
