He's still new at this level and adapting :nice: He's not good in LO games though. Poor List A and ODI record. Should still be in squad for a while in that aswell to see if he starts delivering. Usually leaks too many runs though.

But conditions are different there and since his come back from injury he has not looked fit enough to bowl even 10 overs in an ODI stamina wise and also lost more pace. Did not do well even in FC cricket after that. He will be there for overseas tours I am sure.

He needs to learn how to keep the runs down, like Southee did by bowling outside off stump, especially on these tracks, he is not going to bowl magical deliveries, need to stay patient more.

Ultimate_Game Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 He still goes for too much and concedes at the rate of odis in Tests. His 3/100 in 20 overs won't be of much use unless he starts turning them into 3/55 off 20 overs.
