Ultimate_Game
If the pitch has something in it for pacers I expect Kiwi pacemen to outbowl us easily and would back them to square the series. After all they won a Test in Aus and last time they toured India they reduced India to 15/5 in a Test before Harbhajan somehow hit a 100. Link to comment
J P K
sporting pitch lol it would turn out to be a flat deck Link to comment
kubrickian
I dont know what's with the curators at Bangalore but they have never prepared turning tracks. Its either flat decks or helpful for seamers. When you are playing at home, you have to prepare wickets which assist home team. Otherwise, GTFO. Link to comment

They managed to save series in Australia where our bowlers were bowling as if it was flattest track in history of cricket. If pitch is seamer friendly then expect that we will be reduced to 2-3 batsmen with Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhoni, Raina being walking wicket. Would be big blow for fans who are dreaming about easy clean sweep in all home series. :giggle: Link to comment
jj_28
Should we play 3 seamers and Ashwin for this one or stick with 2 Spinner and 2 Pacers Link to comment

If Harbhajan "somehow" hit a hundred, I would expect the other Indian batsmen to not do too badly. Zaheer and Umesh can be a handful in seaming conditions too. Link to comment

Ultimate_Game
U_G ' date=' Sometimes you are at the mercy of nature. This is one of those times.[/quote'] Bud you have to factor in and in fact plan for bad weather while preparing the pitch. That too in monsoon season  There are industrial heaters available. Set up huge plastic tents that protect the pitch and inner circle and use industrial heaters to dry out the pitch. These excuses of "being at the mercy of weather or rain gods" simply doesn't cut it in this day and age. This is lack of foresight and planning and not ill luck. Link to comment
