Crookbond
Which keeper in that list regularly lets catches fly between himself and first slip and stands too deep back for the slips to be able to make a decent impact on the match? There should be a new comparison category for Dhoni - goalkeeper batsman. He certainly is not a wicketkeeper batsman. Did I ever say he is the best WK? I will be more than happy to accept that Dhoni is not the best WK. However, he brings other things to the table as well which you want to ignore. Also, we all know how Gilchrist, Prior and Boucher have their own limitations. But, at the risk of Schadenfraude you are making it sound worse than it actuall is. Link to comment
urbestfriend
If we lose, Lets sack the curator for preparing a 'sporting' wicket :--D Link to comment
ravishingravi
Win or not this boat is sinking. We need to think long term. Link to comment

King Tendulkar
This is a great pitch by the way. Something diff for India. Interesting and good variety Link to comment
Trichromatic
We will be set up nicley then for poms!!:two_thumbs_up: With fragile openers, non-test standard no 6, worst tail and unreliable pace attack. Link to comment
Old guy
if we win here it will give them some confidence other then tht no need to create pitches like this i understand it was cos of weather but if u have control no need to gift such wickets to opposition Link to comment
saneindian
Kudos to the Bangalore curator. Kumble and Srinath also deserve some praise being responsible for the KSCA administration. Link to comment

What if our batters would have thrown this by now.. we need turners not sporting pitches. Link to comment
Crookbond
No we dont. Atleast not for Gilchrist. You are comparing Dhoni (in WK skills) to great WKs like Knott and Taylor. Do that same for Gilchrist and he will come second best too. Note, I am only talking about WK skills and not batting skills. Link to comment
King
Good to see no.5 win against no.8. I'd like to think other than NZ and Indian cricket fans no one gives a toss. Link to comment
