J P K Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 but we never had steyn or morkel to break their team :(( but we have philander kumar :two_thumbs_up:
vamos_rafa Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Me too :((. I had thought Zak would wipe their asses again and sachin/laxman and gauti would dig deep :((
Sidhoni Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Agreed with JPk, we never had Steyn, Morkel or Philander. We only had Zak who broke down b4 lunch on first day of tour. The day Zak went, I knew this is going to be a 4-0 whopping.
ravishingravi Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yes but players did achieve their dream through IPL
Clarke Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yes but players did achieve their dream through IPL Forum has gone to the barks, every thread the trolls are blaming the lord or IPL and genuine cricket fans are sidelined
jind Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Forum has gone to the barks' date=' every thread the trolls are blaming the lord or IPL and genuine cricket fans are sidelined [/quote'] the irony is that its the self proclaimed 'pure test cricket fans' that make these snide remarks about the IPL P.S: It's raining today because of the IPL :hysterical::hysterical:

Yoda-esque Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 We were jaded from the post WC hysteria/euphoria. Our players were tired. Half of the team was injured.
singhprakash72 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I knew even with WC win behind the back then, whipping Eng in Eng like this was a far fetched thought for Indian team...lets imagine by some magical way India had scored 600 plus runs in 1st innings & even with Zak we didn't have fire power to take 10 english wickets like SA did ! and to top it Dhoni would have asked us to bat till lunch time 5th day just to make it safe :-(
Ultimate_Game Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 We were jaded from the post WC hysteria/euphoria. Our players were tired. Half of the team was injured. What about Aus tour then :dontknow:
BERGKAMP Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 our batters have lost all knowledge of how to bat for a long time. simple problem really.
GautiMaan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 We were jaded from the post WC hysteria/euphoria. Our players were tired. Half of the team was injured. Wt abt Australia?
GautiMaan Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Bowling was always gonna be a weakness,it was the batting that needed to compensate, didnt happen, its really time to move on.We must encourage youngsters even if they fail.
coffee_rules Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 If not a win, I expected them to draw a couple of tests atleast, lose 0-1 or 0-2. Batting failed in all innings, bowling atleast delivered in a couple. I envy SA now, we wish we had developed a few young players instead of relying on senior fab 3 or 4. 2011 Nightmare year for Indian test cricket.
