Loras comes across as so weak in this series. Not to mention this BS sand snakes plot. Dorne is basically people in Spanish people with Berber clothes. Loras is one of the greatest knights in A song of ice and fire. He beat the mountain ffs in first season. And his homosexuality is just hinted in the books. But you know what the show runners did? They full on showed loras in every gay scene possible rather than developing his character. :facepalm: Yeah man the sand snakes plot was BS especially the fight was so awkward. So badly choreographed. And yes they are spanish not arabs as the show would have you believe. LOL. :cantstop:

Desi Cartman Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Game of Thrones (TV Spoilers allowed, Book spoilers not allowed) First 6-7 episodes were lame in the last season as well. They now have twice as many kingdoms and stories to cover in one hour now and it's destroying the show. They need to have 2 hour 10 episodes from the next year. I expect something huge to happen in the next few episodes but yes, it's been very unimpressive.

My question is #teamjaime #teamcersei Which team are you in :D Former for me, but Cerseis acting this season has been immense. The scene in the last episode when she heard the door opening behind he and knew what was happening, she kept this smile on her face but you could see the pure hatred in her eyes!! Brilliant stuff

I have not read the book. And frankly i was bored of this season this episode was just great. GOT does battle/fight scenes very well.

Easily the best episode of the season. And the fight was probably the best in the show across all seasons.

Seems to be the GOT Template, one big battle and one big individual fight per season so, for remaining two episodes (1) Jon comes back and tells people about the threat and probably lets the remaining free folk through causing resentment (2) Jorah proves himself in the pits and Tyrion "advises" Danny to xyz (3) Cercei walk of shame andt thing that measter has been working on (4) Tyrells increase their grip on the throne. Next season Big fight between Stannis and Boltons /Spoiler

Sooda Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Im really worried for Stannis, knowing how the good guys rarely win in GOT I fear Ramsey defeats him and his depleted army and worse, he gets flayed. :nervous: Ideally Brienne and/or Stannis cut Ramsey to little pieces. As for Ep 8 ... Loved it, I cant have been the only one to give a fist pump when Jon went "Nights watch, with me!" Kit Harington has been good this season, not been a great actor generally but showing charisma as Lord Commander This season has beena bit slow/boring. Loras should be used better, Ive not read the books but the re is alot of talk on the show about him being a great warrior. The bit where the faith militant capture him could have been an opportunity for him to fight back.
