Stuge Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 News channels are reporting of 3 low intensity blasts in Pune .
coffee_rules Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 20:34 3 minor blasts in Pune, one injured: Three low-intensity blasts took place on Pune's Junglee Maharaj Road this evening. One was injured in the blasts. One bomb was kept in a cycle carrier, one in a dustbin and the other close to a local bank. Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde was supposed to visit Bal Gandharv Theatre in Pune this evening. More details awaited I hope there are no deaths. Looks like a practice run.
Sachin=GOD Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 The blasts took place in the educational hub of the city.
StriKe Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 https://www.facebook.com/TimesofIndia/posts/10151127534152139 5 blast in pune Hope everyone is ok.
Raghav_12 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Explosions happened in most busy part of the city. Very low intensity blasts though. J M Road area, where most of the explosoins happened is kind of center of city. Blasts seems to have been done to convey the message and put fear in mind common men.
Pagalpanti Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Is it a terrorist attack? If it is I find it odd that they would go so far just to put feat into minds. It could be a trial run?
Texy Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 This was just a preview of what's coming in celebration of sonia maino's govt approving direct investment by the padosis...gd luck folks
asterix Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Could be done by anybody. Pune is Pawar's stronghold. Pawar wouldn't like Shinde becoming Home Minister.. Also, Kalmadi is disgruntled too. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the investigations point all this towards Hindu terror groups, eventually...

However, I wouldn't be surprised if the investigations point all this towards Hindu terror groups, eventually... Nah. Pawar is extremely corrupt but he would never do that. Kalmadi is a spent force now.
mhr123 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 "All the blasts happened in one locality. It does not seem to be a terrorist attack, rather it seems to be the work of a mischief-maker," police commissioner Pol told TOI. "I don't think terrorists are trying to target Pune. Terrorists use high-intensity bombs. The four low-intensity devices had pencil-cell detonators. The person responsible for the mischief is yet to be identified. Patil is being questioned by senior police officials in hospital," he said TOI

flamy Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 What are these 'low intensity blasts' that have become so popular over the last few years?
mhr123 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 After so much issue we have had in the past ... this is the professionalism we see .. PMC didn't pay contractor, CCTVs were not working: The Pune Municipal Corporation had installed CCTV cameras across the city, including at the junction where a man was injured in Wednesday's blast, as part of its intelligent traffic system. However, the cameras were out of order as the contractor who installed the system reportedly stopped the connectivity service after non-payment by the municipal corporation. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/pmc-didnt-pay-contractor-cctvs-were-not-working/982728/
