panther Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 don't see much of a problem pathan-kumar-ashwin-aaron-zak decant bowling attack. ishant is not the solution munaf patel deserves another chance. nehra I thought he retired?
Old guy Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 That was what we thought abt everyone else:cantstop: u didnt expressed well enough
GautiMaan Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I don't feel very hopeful when I see Nehra (at this age), Munaf (hahaha) or Ishant bowling. They would have all gone at 7 per over here and wouldn't have even picked a wicket. Maybe I have a little more hope for Aaron. Munaf aint that bad man,he can atleast keep his line tight Thought i hate his Munni avatar come the ipl
ganeshran Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 All bowlers who are not in the team are world class.
GautiMaan Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 u didnt expressed well enough I meant being world class.Surely u havent forgotten the hype around Munaf and Ishant when they first came in?
Ultimate_Game Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 and yadav.. nice to have some sense back B-> dude did ya forget tht spell of shami ? :P tht guy should be in team soon.. compared to these jokers he is world class I think we should stop deluding ourselves. We don't have a "world class" bowler. Period. We haerd the same stuff when likes of VRV Singh, Unadkat, Dinda, Vinay Kumar, Munaf, Nehra etc. came on to the scene. Prett soon we found out at best they are mediocre and in most cases they are cr@p.
Magneto Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 and yadav.. nice to have some sense back B-> dude did ya forget tht spell of shami ? :P tht guy should be in team soon.. compared to these jokers he is world class Shami is still very okay in List As. Needs to play more before getting into the team. I expected more control from Dinda, but he continues to bowl some rubbish here and there. Yadav keeps spraying as well, and so will Ishu, Sreeshu, and the other jokers.

Ultimate_Game Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 And still you are SOSing them? :D Yup coz they fall into mediocre category, not th cr@p one.

So it's a given thing that most Indian bowlers would be ordinary only. Hope things change in the future, but it's not gonna change overnight. What is more disappointing is the lack of a threatening spinner in the horizon.
SLICKR392 Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 ya and after 2 bad games drop them and then plan b play with 11 batters right ? :) ++ They do well in the first 2 games and fail in one then we start criticizing them.
Magneto Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Yup coz they fall into mediocre category' date=' not th cr@p one.[/quote'] While you are at it, call Prasad and Chetan Sharma as well. :winky:

What is more disappointing is the lack of a threatening spinner in the horizon. And even out of these 3 Kapil would be closest to the world class and was short of being elite. Srinath and Zak were above average and good bowlers but not world class or ATGs. It's a sign of paucity of bowling resources that Srinath and Zak are among the best pacers we had :((
Ultimate_Game Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 While you are at it' date=' call Prasad and Chetan Sharma as well. :winky:[/quote'] TBH they can't do worse than the jumping jack Dinda
Old guy Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 TBH they can't do worse than the jumping jack Dinda then sos away :two_thumbs_up:
ravishingravi Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I now I might get my a## whooped here. But looking at the current scenario, if I may, Sreesanth. Yes, these time are desperate. So revised list Ishant Sharma Yadav Irfan ( Bowling allrounder ) Sreesanth Pravin Kumar Aaron ( Probably ) Ashwin Bhajji Ojha
Number Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Aaron will be no. 1 ODI bowler if he can keep himself fit. PS: what a thread. lmao :hysterical:
