Cricketics Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Never thought we willhave any pet in the house. But here is what we have at our house now. These are two Aussie birds. The Cocktail birds as they are referred too in Australia. We have named them Sun and Shine
Jersey #10 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 What's so cool about trapping two birds in a cage for your pleasure? They have the wings to explore the world but not destined to i guess.
Cricketics Posted August 9, 2012 Author Posted August 9, 2012 What's so cool about trapping two birds in a cage for your pleasure? They have the wings to explore the world but not destined to i guess. They are safe here more than the shyt world outside where they get eaten by illegal immigrants :-)
Aaku Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Cuuuteeee !!!:two_thumbs_up: but honestly birds are super boring, koi pet wali tou feel hi nahi aati :dontknow: We had 2 love birds, ek room mein khula chorke we (me and my little cousins) used to chase them around sock glove daal ke, chonch maarti thi warna pakadne pe :--D then we let them go ek din, but not the right thing to do as we were told because they are usually attacked and killed by the big birds :((

asterix Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Cute birds and their names, 'Tics bhai. I too had a Cockatiel for 5 years but had to give it to a friend as it had become too talkative and noisy. :((
superstar Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 What a boring cage. Atleast add some natural feel to the cage...Gitmo for birds
Khalpat Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Don't get me wrong but caging a bird and not allowing them fly, the best gift given by nature is a sin in my view. The world may be a **** mate but beleive me that cage is no better place for them atleast in outside world they can fly.
Aaku Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 birds ko chhod kar kutte ko paala? :sherlock: we had 2 kutte pehle but ek died :(( tou we gave the other away firr birds paali firr bonzo aaya humari zindagi mein:icflove::icflove::icflove::icflove::icflove::icflove:

jind Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Have fun with your new friends. If you were to have desi names, what would you name them? Bunty and Bablu :giggle:
Swing_n_Speed Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Awww they look real cute. Do these birds make good pets? Do they reciprocate attention?

dial_100 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 May be later you may want to consider little bigger cage for them. They do fly a bit so may be 5-6' long 2-3' deep cage would be ideal for long term for the health. Good luck with your new pets. They are very cute.
panesarv Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Then, get a 30x30 foot cage cuz they like to fly...
Yoda-esque Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Congrats on your birds..I knew those annoying flyers Could be put to good use
