Ram Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Nice looking birds ticsy. A while ago, my previous room mate's colleague went abroad for a long vacation. So she left her bird with us for caretaking. It took a while for the lil one to get used to us, but once it did, it was the best thing in the world. The bird would literally sit inn my lap for hours on end, while I watched an entire NBA game on the couch. :D

Also free khana peena proper punjabi style dil khol ke, with free hindi plus anderson cooper live dekhne ko milega inko non stop.

They don't have any habitat of theirz here, so will get killed easily outside. These are social birds again.

I saw something interesting in "BBC - Wild China" documentary, where some people take their bird pets in a cage outside the house, in a park, so these birds can see nature and socialize with other birds. This supposedly helps the birds to cope with depression and be healthy.

You just have to deal with it. It's how the god has made this land and that's how the CHAIN/cycle workds. Whether you have a food cycle or life cycle. This is how it's meant to be. Yes they is a difference, but don't contradict yourself. The matter still remains the same and it won't change the fact that Plants too are a living thing regardless of it being different from chicken etc.

Only for eating, sleeping and in the night, they go in the cage. I never feelt guilty having these birds as pets and you never know where they will end up, if not in your home. Many of these birds are/were saved from poachers and bird traffickers. For birds like Cockateils, if you have to release them, you have to release them in their natural habitat, which is in Australia otherwise it's very difficult for them to survive, if released anywhere else due to various factors, apart from weather conditions.

She is the one who's taking care rite now. But now I am starting to like them.
triam Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Tics, congrats, birds are extremely sensitive to things such as smoke, temperature etc, as with any pet there will be lifestyle adjustments, but worth it. have fun
