Trundler27 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Dhoni doesn't have guts to bench this termite Gambhir... so he feeds his ego by including his butt buddies like piyush, jaddu at each possible opportunity. Sehwag and Gambhir are destroying the teams confidence big time.... Despite their average of 53, the team no longer expects a solid start and the dominoes start falling as soon as these two get back to the hut with 20 odd on the board. Moreover, both these guys are absolutely useless for the remainder of the game once they are done batting (no good in the field, can't bowl, can't run around, etc). So these guys will merrily keep playing as long as the powers that be keep on picking them in the squad. As discussed many times before, our team currently carries 75% passengers in any given format and these two goons are passengers sitting in the front seats
panther Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Fecking lunguns, Gambhir scored two 100s and seven 50s in 10 innings against them :giggle:, talk about inflating your numbers :hysterical: And our legends made kulasekra and perera look like the second coming of mcgrtah and courtny walsh.
bharat297 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 The other huge problem with Gambhir and Sehwag is that they both want to be the captain right now, and as a result are in denial about their form slump. Kohli on the other hand doesn't crave the captaincy. He knows he'll probably get it some day if he just focuses on his batting now. I think the only way forward for India is to axe both these guys. I'd go with Rahane definitely as one opener, and probably either Murali Vijay or Robin Uthappa as the other opener.

TestPlayer Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 The amount of damage Sehwag and Gambhir have done to Indian cricket, they should be imposed lifetime bans and not just dropped. What do you people think?
Magneto Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Even against those lungans one guy scored less runs than extras in each innings :cantstop: Not extras :poink: WIDES :hysterical:
div Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 And our legends made kulasekra and perera look like the second coming of mcgrtah and courtny walsh. Thoese guys were struggling to scor 100 runs in England.ftbs

Trichromatic Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Thats three faliures for gambir, by now its pretty evident hes not out of form but he simply cant play decent pacemen, PERIOD. Kick this fool out!!!!! Who'll captain this team after Dhoni then? :dontknow: Isn't he only player good for all formats of game? :phehehe: He won IPL for KKR. :winky: Last 17 ODIs excluding SL - 381 runs at an avg of 22.41 and SR of 76.04. Last 7 ODIs excluding SL - 73 runs at avg of 10.42 and SR of 52.14. :hysterical: Sehwag Last 7 ODIs at avg of 43.57 and SR of 112 Even if you exclude his 219, he has done better than Gambhir. :dontknow: Yet it was Sehwag who was thrown out of team in last ODI.
CG Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Who'll captain this team after Dhoni then? :dontknow: Isn't he only player good for all formats of game? :phehehe: Look at his t20 record or test record after wc.You will know why he needs to go if you add his captaincy record also. If we remove srilanka whom we played most. All other batsman record also tumbles.

Wow, that's pretty bad. But hasn't Sehwag's one score also been against SL? I can only remember his 96 being a decent score after the home series vs WI.
