There are some key test series coming in coming months. Ind v Eng, Aus v SA and SA v Pakistan will provide some answers to unanswered questions. Ian Bell. Bell was hailed best player of spin in Eng but was made to look ordinary by Ajmal. He struggled against SA at home. Now prospect of facing Ashwin on turning wickets provides stern test of Bell. Another poor series will surely put question marks on his place in the side. Graeme Swan. Man was hailed as the best spinner in the world not too long ago. But was ineffective against Ind at home and was out bowled by Ajmal Rehman and Monty in UAE. Ind is a hard place for any touring spinner. A poor series in Ind will see him under pressure. G Gambhir. His form is patchy off late and he needs to score against Aus and Eng or number of upcoming youngsters will breath down his neck. Tendulkar. Man is an ATG and deserves to go on his terms but a pattern is emerging where his reflexes are appearing to be slowing down. He will be tested by Aussie and English quicks. Taufeeq Umar. Left hander has struggled in last 12 months and I can see him losing his place after SA tour. Younis khan. Although he averages nearly 60 in last couple of years but he is not as consistent as he once was. After losing his place in ODIs a poor series in SA could mean disaster for him. Pakistan has history of dropping players in knee jerk reaction. Ricky Ponting. Great man will be tested by SA attack at home and needs to score to get on that plane to Eng next summer.
