The Outsider
I was right he made his debut in 2008 in an ODI What have ODIs got to do with the discussion here? If you are talking of ODIs he is already one of the best batsman in the world. And India's ODI team has not had Dravid, Laxman etc. for years so really can't understand what relevance those 4 years in ODIs have? Link to comment

King Tendulkar
2nd fastest batsman to 4000 runs in odi cricket history. Only Viv Richards did it in less innings. Was magnificient yesyterday. Amazing to watch, master class. He is back. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Link to comment
Spiderguy252
Perspective, please. An ODI half-century chasing 150 against the minnows of the format. Hardly a cause for celebration. Let's see if he can score runs against Australia in the tests. Link to comment

Pure class Perspective, well fastest to 4000 runs after viv in world cricket. Aussies look out. Virat is coming for you Link to comment

The pitch at ranchi was more like a foreign pitch. Decent pace, ball carrying and coming on. He thrived. Kohli maybe a rare indian who will do better overseas then in India:giggle: He will get 2 tons against aussies min. He was magnificent yesterday. Kohli is back!:two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
Number
^ Nah, It was a regular ODI track nothing more, even on that he was struggling top edges and all. Nothing special about the knock which suggests he is gonna be the best player in the world. Link to comment

King Tendulkar
^ Clearly you guys are committed to slating him cos of your club membership. But for those with freedom of speech we can say what we feel. He is class and will show it. Link to comment
bharat297
He's a very talented batsman who is doing very well but lets not put additional pressure by making him a star before he actually is one yet. Link to comment

Correct. He's far from being a very good test batsman. As Boycott pointed out, Kohli's talented but he still does not know the art of building a test inning. Link to comment
