saneindian Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 This is what was in store for domestic matches after all the hullabaloo about sporting tracks? Absolutely crap pitches for such kind of tournaments and then we lament why don't we have decent bowlers. Who would want to bowl. better to play with bowling machines.
rkt.india Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Sandeep gets wicket first ball, beauty. Uthappa gone.
vvvslaxman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Aprajith 10 overs 38 . 2 key wickets (Dhawan & Rahane).
Magneto Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Jaddu will be back in the Indian team soon. :cantstop:
vvvslaxman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 somethings never change. Our fast bowlers
Magneto Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 So Vijay played well in another final/big match. IPL4, IPL5, Irani Trophy and now this. Must be in good touch.
SLICKR392 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Jaddu will be back in the Indian team soon. :cantstop: :afraid:
Trundler27 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Instead of jaddu i see another serious talent coming up now that papa binny is in the selection committee... guess who will be the next gold block in our castle of trundlers?
jairamesh Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Instead of jaddu i see another serious talent coming up now that papa binny is in the selection committee... guess who will be the next gold block in our castle of trundlers? :hysterical: I can't take this anymore.
Crookbond Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Rahane 64 of 88 balls following his 63 of 84 balls against Bengal  I think he's in line for a Test cap :hatsoff:
vvvslaxman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Rahane 64 of 88 balls following his 63 of 84 balls against Bengal  I think he's in line for a Test cap :hatsoff: He is never going to be a T20 success as some would believe. It is a different animal. I think they have to groom guys like Uthappa, yusuf Pathan for it.
vishalvirsingh Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 What ever u guys say but after All the analysis its quite clear that Zak Ishant n yadav are Our best bets along with Dinda a close 4th...... We should play these 4 as regulars in all tests and one days and even in T 20"s instead of getting some trundlers to come n replace them......its gOod to give experience and show faith in Some bowlers........ I wish to Add Varun Aroon also to the first 3( zak ishu yadav) but he is most of the time unfit .....so one cannot rely much on him.....probably investing in Shammi could be a better bet though Varun is far better than Shammi and even Ishant sharma.....he is probably equal to zak and umesh in my book if he is FIT but its a BIG IF....
vishalvirsingh Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 One thing is Sure- selectors shud not select TRUNDLERS who bowl Under 130 most of the time and just bowl 135 once in a bluemoon. Now IRFAN is a Success bcos he swings at good pace now.....sEe him swinging between 132 to 137k which is Very Good....I may be tempted to play him even in tests because he can get 2 to 3 wickets with the new ball and then can RELAX.....if he improves he should play tests when india plays outside India.. UV is an all rounder on indian and Asian tracks as he bowls bats and fields well on asian tracks and it makes sense to play him in ODI"s T 20 and even in tests( he is not fit for tests as on today) Similiarly irfan shud play all tests ODI t20 outside india bcos his SWING is BACK and he is a good bowler outside ....he always had batting talent and is a good fielder..... On indian tracks he shud not play Tests
skindia Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Last year uthappa played well in challenger trophy and he got just 1 chance that too in t20 and suddenly people want dhawan and vijay in odi team...whats fault of uthappa last year then?
SLICKR392 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Rahane 64 of 88 balls following his 63 of 84 balls against Bengal  I think he's in line for a Test cap :hatsoff: He will warm the bench as usual and the likes of Raina would get more chances and fail.
Crookbond Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 He will warm the bench as usual and the likes of Raina would get more chances and fail. What is wrong with Raina in ODI's now? :dontknow: OR did you mean Test matches? :hmmm:
