jairamesh Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 With our bowling attack we over achieved. Had it not been for a 15 minute rain burst, we maybe have out done ourselves by reaching the semis. But having said that, the positive thing is; Sehwag, Rohit, and Dhoni are a liability to the batting order.
Crookbond Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Pakistan literally choked against us. Our bowling was nothing special in that match. We struggled against Afghanistan. Only creditable win was against England. You start to remove such games - none of the other teams will have much left on their roster either. Given the limitations was it a good enough performance?
Yoda-esque Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 jeet'ta tu? at least spell it right dude he has a SRK fetish:giggle:
vvvslaxman Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 You start to remove such games - none of the other teams will have much left on their roster either. Given the limitations was it a good enough performance? Yea.. exceeded our expectations. I expected them to be thrashed in all 3 matches. Especially our bowling did okay in 2 games. It is our batting that failed in 2 important matches. 7 batsmen.. nobody fired consistently.
gult Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Our bowling did very well.. Our batsmen flopped in the game that mattered in the end. No worries through, we still beat Pakistan comfortably. And that's what matters to me
Asim Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 All of them same as us. Still we are out. :(( due to obvious reasons & oppertunities been missed...

No worries through' date=' we still beat Pakistan comfortably. And that's what matters to me[/color'] That's the piss poor mentality and that is exactly why our team will remain the same. Who cares if you beat the *****y pakis? Priority should be to win the World Cup not just beat the lowly pakis

Priority should be to win the World Cup not just beat the lowly pakis  If it was one day world cup, I would not have said this. You saw NZ getting knocked out other day because their stars weren't good. Same with India. I can't simply take this so called 'world cup' seriously

Beating pakis should be a sankalp not a dhyey.

SLICKR392 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 And we somehow managed to bowl out our opponents in all 4 games that we won :giggle:

Yoda-esque Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 We actually did well. It was just that one phase of rain that conspired and rendered our spinners ineffective. I mean even Aash got hammered,so surely those were terrible conditons for our bowlers
Sachinism Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 With our bowling attack we over achieved. Had it not been for a 15 minute rain burst, we maybe have out done ourselves by reaching the semis. But having said that, the positive thing is; Sehwag, Rohit, and Dhoni are a liability to the batting order. This. I don't know how many of you really expected us to win the tournament
gult Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Miracle :cantstop: Include SL warm up too.. That must be the by far best performance from Indian bowling unit since -
Laaloo Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Imagine our tourney if yuvi hadn't played. We would have been thrashed even worse
