Let's say UK decides to park HMS Queen Elizabeth along with a few type 45 Destroyers and a few Vanguard Submarines. There's absolutely nothing in hell that India can do about it. Are you genuinely saying that India is the most powerful military after the USA? That's the most absurd claim I've ever heard. Many Indians still have a servant-like mentality in front of the West, and lack confidence in their own abilities (which are potentially great, and should be used) Are we among the world's best militaries? There's absolutely nothing in hell that India can do about it. Today, maybe not, because we lack the guts. One day, I hope we make them pay dearly for the way they looted our nation. indiaregulator Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 What's so funny? Let's do a direct comparison. India's military, especially its Navy and Air Force is crap. First of all, its only aircraft carrier is an aircraft carrier that was in service by the British just after World War Two. It's obselete by about 50 years. UK on the other hand has two supercarriers in production which will be ready in two years. Each supercarrier is nearly four times the displacement of the Indian carrier. Let's say these carriers are not finished before war breaks out, the UK will simply un-mothball HMS Illustrious, Invincible and Ark Royal and put them into service. Each of them are still infinetly better than India's. Nothing in the world, not even the American destroyers can match the type 45 destroyers. Air force is even more of a joke. India are using obslete French planes from the 80's and UK are using Eurofighter Typhoon's and Hurricanes, soon to be upgraded to F-35 Lightenings. Do we even need to consider the relative professionalism and individual training/strength of the two militaries. Bundeswehr, Isreal, France and JSF are given American technology which almost instantaneously gives them the upper hand against India. If you genuinely think India can take on any of the above countries in a war and win, then you are simply deluded. First of all, how the hell are India going to get to said country.
