Crookbond Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 what if the daredevils owners dont like it then what? That is between the Daredevils and Warner! Why are people here demanding an apology from Warner? Why can't he write what he wants! I agree what he wrote was not good but why is there "We should demand an apology :protest: " kind of attitude? He has the power to choose what to write and you/me have the power to choose what we read.

Simple. you dont like my opinion you dont reply. You dont like that people want to protest democratically or their attitude dont join in. simple
Crookbond Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Did I say I didn't like your opinion? :dontknow: I said what is the reasoning behind asking Warner to apologize. If you do not have one just say that! I want to seriously understand "What are people protesting for?" and "How is the protest justified?". Of course, you can stand up and say "I am protesting because I want to" and that's fine too but right now I am muddled. Hence, the query. Compadre?

I just pointed out your options (my opinion ofcourse) I am protesting because I feel warner made a generalization. I have no issue if warner says some Indian fans on twitter etc etc. Secondly after making a generalization i feel be is being bit of a hypocrite by playing for an Indian team I thought thats pretty evident from reading the thread or the implication was very much there.
vvvslaxman Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I don't like his statement either. But i give a damn whether he apologizes or not. It is not going to be a sincere one. He said what he felt. We are amazingly thin skinned are we?

Ultimate_Game Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 People are way too sensitive these days. First Indians taking everything from Tony Greig seriously and getting mad when they should simply ignore and laugh at him, then Pakis getting their panties in a twist at Raina's tweet and now this. If you can't have a thick enough skin to even ignore such banal & frankly pretty non-offensive tweets, stay away from internet and social networking.
bajrang Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 somebody inform the indian media!! inform the Delhi daredevil media manger!! inform the ACB, BCCI, BBC. this man must apologize.
Sachinism Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 @davidwarner31 For all the Indian people who kindly tweet to me and don't abuse me I will say sorry to u, I hope I did not offend you. Can we be done with the issue??
G_B_ Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 Happy with David's response. Case closed. thats all what i really wanted.
cowboysfan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Athletes should get off twitter if they cant take some comments by idiots.
G_B_ Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 twitter in general always leads to people slipping up if your a celebrity/sportsman avoid it like the plague. one heat of the moment thing and your screwed.
Ultimate_Game Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Athletes should get off twitter if they cant take some comments by idiots. +1. Professional sportspersons or anyone in public limelight for that matter should let a PR/media savvy person handle & manage it.
Crookbond Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Use Twitter to send sexy messages to the ladies like Warne does
Sachinism Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Athletes should get off twitter if they cant take some comments by idiots. Maybe Indians shouldn't be allowed on Twitter. Their team can't win their games, so they rely on others to get them through and when that doesn't happen, they abuse the others.
rixxuu Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 there u go, yesterday raina was a hero here and now this turnaround. atleast warner said the reason for this agressive tweet(talking crap to him on Twitter) while raina came from no where and said shameless for a national team.. this world is so funny every thing changes in fractions and people become naked..:((
