Cevno Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Punjab making Unadkat who is bowling poorly look good.
Cevno Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Well' date=' this wicket has turn and bounce so not really a patta. Pretty much a turning track (from Day 3).[/quote'] Hardly been any ripping or quick/bouncy turn. Yeah, 1/2 spinners have turned it but it should hardly have been threatening if Punjab played it well.
Number Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Better score fast now so that can get a chance to bowl them out again.
Magneto Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Uday Kaul will surely be in the NZ team now, but there is no Duleep Trophy this season. No more first class matches for him till the next season.
Magneto Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hardly been any ripping or quick/bouncy turn. Yeah' date=' 1/2 spinners have turned it but it should hardly have been threatening if Punjab played it well.[/quote'] This is just Day 3. So, it's a usual Indian wicket where it holds up for 2/3 days and the cracks start opening up in the last 2/3 days. This is the kind of wicket laid out in internationals so no harm having one here. Vishal Joshi got some good bounce. Ravi Inder Singh got foxed because of the bounce only. Jadeja also got some decent turn.
saneindian Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Unadkat bowling a very good spell here. Another wicket for him
Cevno Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Unadkat bowling a very good spell here. Another wicket for him I am not sure, except getting extra bounce what special he is doing ? Is Just angling the ball across and Punjab batsman keep poking their bats out to edge it. Wtf?
Lord Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Bhajji will score a ton n then rip out Saurashtra for 100 in 2nd innings , n then hit another to win:agree:
Clarke Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Bhajji will score a ton n then rip out Saurashtra for 100 in 2nd innings ' date=' n then hit another to win:agree:[/quote'] Apna Punjab hove, ghar di sharab hove :haha:

Jadeja also got some decent turn. Nah, with better batting Punjab could have easily overhauled Saurashtra's score. And Punjab had to bowl well to get Saurashtra out under 2 days in first place. If first innings lasts 2 days, then in a domestic 4 day match (this is longer) it is most probably a draw pitch. And Punjab should have batted well into tomorrow too but they threw it away. And if they did then even a 5 day match was a draw.

No Freebies on offer, changing pace and angles, nicely rolling his fingers at the time of release, some of those angling across are moving a little late
Number Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Now U-madkat will surely be the first name on A tour teamsheet. :((
msb1991 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Now U-madkat will surely be the first name on A tour teamsheet. :(( Surely the selectors will see the difference between someone capable of a good spell and someone who performs consistently.
diga Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Assuming its a saurashtra Vs mumbai finals, what a match it will be if all India players participate in it.... Pujara,Jaddu Vs Zak /Agarkar/Dhawal & SRT/Rahane/Rohit Vs Unadkat/Jadeja
Magneto Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Now U-madkat will surely be the first name on A tour teamsheet. :(( The A-team would anyway continue with half of the A-team who did well in NZ-A. If you completely scrap that team and create a new A-team, then the purpose of the A-team gets defeated. And since the A-team at NZ did quite well, I expect most of them to be selected for the next A-tour excepting guys who have been horribly out of form this Ranji.
Number Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Surely the selectors will see the difference between someone capable of a good spell and someone who performs consistently. He is not even in the top 15 pacers of this season for sure.

Have seen nothing special from him so far. This spell won't get him any International batsman.
